Pueblo man dies in I-25 collision on Tuesday
A Pueblo man was killed in a fatal crash in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to Pueblo police.
The victim was identified as Charles Wheat, 90, by Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter.

Pueblo police responded around 12:40 a.m. to a driver that was northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 near McCulley Ave in a Honda Accord, according to a news release from the Pueblo Police Department.
At approximately 12:43 a.m. police received information that a semi-truck was hit by the Honda Accord on the interstate in the 500 block of I-25, near the sixth street exit.
The Accord hit the semi-tractor head-on, killing Wheat.
There were no injuries to the occupants of the semi-truck. The interstate was shut down for investigation and cleanup. There were no signs of impairment and speed is not considered a factor in the crash.
