As we wait for summer to truly be over in South Florida (we can dream, right?), heading to a pumpkin patch is one way to get in the mood for fall.
Whether you're looking to take a bright orange gourd home or enjoy baked goods and fun activities in an autumn-themed atmosphere, here are locations across Palm Beach County to visit, listed from south to north:
Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival
Peruse thousands of pumpkins, take in the thrills of carnival rides for all ages and enjoy pumpkin-inspired foods in the Pumpkin Food Court and a 'cold one' at one of the Pumpkin Beer Bars. There also will be a cornstalk maze, a scarecrow dress-up village, a pumpkin decorating kit and more.

Cason Pumpkin Patch, Delray
Their 27th Annual Pumpkin Patch Festival starts in mid-October and will showcase pumpkins the size of baseballs up to some monsters that require two people to handle. Other colorful gourds will be there as well. The event benefits Cason UMC's mission and outreach programs.

Bedner's is hosting a fall festival, where visitors can walk through the pumpkin patch or sunflower field, as well as take part in activities such as a tractor ride.

Pick the perfect pumpkin or snap a fall photo at this pumpkin patch to benefit Cason United Methodist Church. The patch promises a variety of pumpkins and gourds in every shape and size. There's also an opportunity to have personalized portrait by an onsite artist.

Looking for a fall photo op? The Square’s beloved "Instagram-worthy pumpkin patch" is re-sprouting as the official commencement of the fall season in West Palm Beach. Run by the Plant Whisperers from The Garden Shoppe, the bright gourds will be available to pick starting in mid-October with family-friendly activities.

The Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach's pop-up patch will feature more than 1,000 pumpkins, including heirloom, miniature and classic varieties, plus fun activities, entertainment, photo moments, and more. All pumpkin purchases benefit The Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope.

Trinity Christian's pumpkin patch is returning for its 34th year. The school is again partnering with Alaina’s Café and Bake Shoppe in Palm Beach Gardens to sell baked goods. All proceeds from the pumpkin patch will go to support the school's mission.

Community of Hope Pumpkin Patch
This patch will feature hundreds of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes as well as baked goods and fantastic, fall-themed photos spots. In addition, there will the Punkin Chunkin event where teams compete to see who can catapult pumpkins the farthest to win the coveted grand prize trophy. All the proceeds from sales go to support their Student Ministry, allowing middle and high school students opportunities to attend summer camp and missions trips that they could not otherwise afford.

This festival in Jupiter, hosted by Chasin A Dream Foundation, offers pumpkins for the picking as well as views of Jupiter's waterways. This family-friendly event will also feature great music, trick-or-treating, a costume contest and over 50 vendors.
