What is better than watching a puppet show? How about playing with a puppet you created?

Rodman Public Library will give children ages 12 and younger the chance to do both as it gets the summer started with MellyPop! Productions on Monday and Tuesday.

On June 5, MellyPop! will present “Dr. Dolittle” at 6 p.m. in the Rodman auditorium. Children can hang out with Dottie, Dr. Dolittle's bumbling new assistant, as she shares stories with all of the magical, talking animals during the interactive show inspired by Hugh Lofting's book “The Story of Doctor Dolittle” and Rudyard Kipling's “Rikki Tikki Tavi.”

Registration is required for the puppet show, at rodmanlibrary.evanced.info/signup.

On June 6, MellyPop! Productions will return to RPL to conduct puppet making workshops at 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Registration is required, also at the link above.
