You'll never guess Purdue basketball's opponent in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge: the Florida State Seminoles. The teams met in last year's event, with Purdue winning 93-65. FSU won their 2018 matchup 73-72.

The No. 5 (USA TODAY) Boilermakers (6-0) are coming off a fantastic weekend, winning the Phil Knight Legacy tournament that included convincing wins over Gonzaga and Duke. Zach Edey was the tournament MVP after averaging 22.7 points and 11 rebounds over three games. His season averages are 21.7 points, 12.0 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots. Fletcher Loyer (11.3) is the only other Purdue player averaging in double figures.

Florida State (1-7) owns a win over Mercer but went 0-3 in a Thanksgiving week event, losing to Siena, Stanford and Nebraska. The Seminoles has four players averaging in double figures, led by Caleb Mills (12.6).
