Purdue basketball vs. Northwestern TV, radio, series history

No. 4 Purdue tries to bounce back from its loss to Indiana when Northwestern visits.

The Boilermakers (15-3, 4-3 Big Ten) stumbled in Bloomington to suffer its first loss to the Hoosiers in six years. Jaden Ivey had a strong second half and got help from Mason Gillis and Zach Edey, but poor free throw shooting forcing just 3 IU turnovers doomed Purdue.

The Wildcats (9-7, 2-5) won at then-No. 10 Michigan State last weekend and gave No. 8 Wisconsin all it could handle earlier this week before falling 82-76. Pete Nance leads Northwestern in scoring (16.6), rebounding (7.6) and blocked shots (1.5). Boo Buie averages 14.9 points and 5.6 assists and has 33 3-pointers. Freshman Brooks Barnhizer from Lafayette Jeff has appeared in five games.
