Purdue football 2023 recruiting tracker: Cathedral receiver Jaron Tibbs commits
WEST LAFAYETTE - The run of 2023 commitments continues for Purdue and coach Jeff Brohm.
On Tuesday, Cathedral receiver Jaron Tibbs announced his decision to join the Boilermakers. Tibbs is the 15th commitment in the 2023 class with more expected this week.
The 6-foot-4 Tibbs is the third receiver commitment this week, along with North Central's TJ McWilliams and Ohio's Ryne Shackelford.
2023 RECRUITING: Weekend visits bring whirlwind of commitments
Tibbs, who also plays basketball for the Irish, visited Purdue on June 10 and traveled to Iowa last weekend. He also had scholarship offers from Mid-American and Ivy League programs.

Tibbs caught 66 passes for 1,105 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, most of them from quarterback and 2024 Purdue target Danny O'Neil. Tibbs made 10 catches for 225 yards and scored two touchdowns in Cathedral's Class 5A state championship game victory over Zionsville last season.
