Coach creative director Stuart Vevers designs for the cool crew, and a bunch of them took over his buzzy front row.
Actors Camila Mendes, Arianna Greenblatt, Storm Reid, Sophie Thatcher, Yasmin Finney and Tommy Dorfman posed for pictures with singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini and playwright and actor Jeremy O. Harris at the house’s fall 2024 show, held at the James B. Duke House on the Upper East Side. Many wore Coach leather outerwear – a focus of the collection – from floor-sweeping trenches to a fitted jacket.
The collection featured plenty of sustainable looks in second-hand denim, leather and shearling, along with cardigan jackets in distressed materials, tuxes and collegiate hoodies. Models carried the brand’s famous bags, including the Empire Carryall and the new Times Square Tabby, available in washed napa and velvet. Adorable charms inspired by New York souvenirs – including the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty and yellow taxis – dangled from the handles.
“Riverdale” vet Mendes, who stars in Amazon Prime Video’s romcom “Upgraded” and the upcoming coming-of-age love story “Música,” paired a Valentine-red minidress with a roomy black leather blazer.
“Música is a project that’s close to my heart. It’s a representation of what it’s like to be a Brazilian American and I’ve never been able to be part of a project like that before,” said the actor and producer, who is of Brazilian descent. “I play Isabella and I’m one of the love interests in the movie.”
Speaking of romance, Dorfman was decked out in Coach passion pieces.
“I’m all about love,” she said. “Kissy bag, heart-shaped glasses – all the beautiful things.”
