PWSA workers help retrieve wedding ring accidentally dropped in storm drain

Two Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority workers helped retrieve a wedding ring that was accidentally dropped in a storm drain in Oakland.

PWSA posted to its Facebook page praising the workers, Anthony Ranallo and Mike Mirenna, from its Brilliant Yard Water Operations, saying, “just another example of our workers going the extra mile to help our customers!”

The company also shared the Facebook post from Sarah Burns, the woman who lost the ring. She said she accidentally dropped it along Forbes Avenue on June 21 during rush hour. She also said Ranallo and Mirenna are “the heroes I needed and didn’t deserve today!”
