Q&A: COVID-19 vaccine mistrust among Black and Latino communities

The coronavirus pandemic has hit communities of color especially hard in the United States. Experts say a history of medical mistrust could prevent Latino and Black Americans from getting vaccinated. Dr. Jewel Mullen is the associate dean for health equity at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. She joins us to talk about the safety of the vaccines being produced and what can be done to encourage communities of color to get the shots.
