What do you do and how long have you been in business?
East Bay Students in Service (ebstudentsinservice.org) is a student group of high school and college students in the San Ramon area working on various projects to help our local community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We began doing various projects starting in mid-April.
Specifically, we are running a project in our Interest Groups team that provides free virtual elementary enrichment sessions for elementary schoolers every week! We want to keep young students engaged and interacting with others this summer through activities like arts/crafts, trivia, etc. as well as alleviate some of the childcare responsibility for parents.
All the information about the elementary enrichment sessions and how to sign up is here: ebstudentsinservice.org/get-involved/elementary-enrichment.
How have you adapted and continued to serve people during this time?
East Bay Students in Service has adapted by starting various projects to help out the community during this time. In addition to our elementary enrichment sessions, we are conducting projects such as virtual tutoring, writing cards for residents of senior homes, offering consulting services to local businesses/nonprofits as they weather the pandemic, creating tech literary resources for seniors, and much more. All of our project information is available on our website!
Is there anything else you'd like to tell readers or customers?
We would love to expand the reach of our project and get more students participating!
How can people get in touch with you and where are you located?
They can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and find more information at ebstudentsinservice.org!
