The Indiana Hoosiers start a tough season-closing stretch when they host the Penn State Nittany Lions.

IU (3-5, 1-4) is coming off its bye week. The Hoosiers have lost five games in a row after starting with three victories.

No. 16 (USA TODAY) Penn State (6-2, 3-2) is seeking to bounce back after a home loss to No. 2 Ohio State.

The Nittany Lions have won eight of the past nine in this series, including 24-0 last season. IU beat Penn State 36-35 two years ago in Bloomington.

Who is IU's quarterback vs. Penn State?

Indiana coach Tom Allen isn't offering hints. Connor Bazelak (54.8% completions, 2,099 yards, 12 touchdowns, 9 interceptions) has been QB1 all season, but in the wake of the losing streak, Jack Tuttle and Dexter Williams are also under consideration.

Regardless of who starts, he won't have top receiver Cam Camper (46 catches, 569 yards, 2 TDs), who is lost for the season due to an ACL injury. Emery Simmons is next in receptions with 29 for 309 yards and 1 TD.
