Fayetteville Christian's Hannah Wilson is the latest 910Preps Athlete of the Week

The senior had 24 assists in a 3-1 win against Freedom Christian last week. She added 15 kills, 31 digs and 17 assists in a 3-2 win against Rocky Mount Academy.

Wilson has helped the Warriors win their first 19 matches this season. Of the more than 9,300 responses recorded in the 910Preps Athlete of the Week poll, Wilson picked up 4,860 votes to take top honors. Trinity Christian's Bishop Joyner finished second with 2,021 votes, followed by Cape Fear's Brooke Bombatepe (1,901).

SCHEDULE SHIFT:Fayetteville-area high school football games moved due to Hurricane Ian

Brooke Bombatepe, Cape Fear: The junior had eight kills, 21 digs and 19 assists in a 3-1 win against Cape Fear. She followed with 21 digs, 15 assists and seven kills in a 3-0 win against Lumberton.

Xayden Watson, Pine Forest: The junior quarterback accounted for 232 yards, including 139 passing, and four touchdowns against Western Harnett.

Bishop Joyner, Trinity Christian: The senior quarterback completed 12 of 17 passes for 332 yards with three touchdowns in a 52-14 win against Wake Christian.
