Queen + Adam Lambert is set to make its first Detroit appearance in four years with an Oct. 14 stop at Little Caesars Arena.

The show is part of a just-announced 14-city leg of the band's ongoing Rhapsody Tour, an extravagant production that mingles Queen standards with deeper selections from the band's catalog with late singer Freddie Mercury.

Recently knighted guitarist Brian May, founding drummer Roger Taylor and vocalist Adam Lambert — approaching his 10th year as Queen front man — are embarking on their first run of U.S. dates since the COVID-19 pandemic. Rounding out the group will be keyboardist Spike Edney, bassist Neil Fairclough and percussionist Tyler Warren.

The Queen + Adam Lambert Rhapsody Tour will pick up in October 2023, after a series of COVID-related rescheduled European dates last year.

The Rhapsody Tour will launch Oct. 4 in Baltimore and wrap up Nov. 11 in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the 14 shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 31 through LiveNation.com. For most dates, including Detroit, anti-scalping measures will be instituted using the Ticketmaster Face Value Exchange, which limits ticket transfers to original prices.
