“The Queen City Pop-Up Shop was the perfect example of what happens when you purposely bring together the passion of entrepreneurs, the resources of the city, and support of a community," said From HERE: Workspaces Founder and CEO Sneh Kadakia, in a news release. "We, at ‘from HERE,’ want to recreate these magical moments over and over again for the local businesses that are establishing themselves in downtown Plainfield. Over one hundred (100) people came out to experience the pop-up shop! We can’t wait to announce the spring pop-up date.”

The event was sponsored by the Plainfield Special Improvement District, an organization that works to promote relationships between local governments and private businesses; promote and educate citizens, property owners and business owners in matters of revitalization, promotion and finance; recruit new stores to diversify the retail mix; aid in the acquisition of adequate financing for new and existing businesses and assist in city beautification projects.
