Queens University of Charlotte announces men’s basketball schedule

Grant Leonard, head of the Royal’s men’s basketball program excitedly announced the team’s non-conference schedule Thursday afternoon.

The schedule includes 15 games with six of them at home for their second year in Division 1 basketball.

The team will take on rivals from the ACC, Sun Belt, Missouri Valley, Big South, Colonial, MAAC, and NEC Conferences.

The Royals open their season with a November 6 matchup on the road against Marshall.

First the first time in program history, the Royals will face off against Southern Illinois.

Another key highlight on the schedule is November 22 at home against Fairleigh Dickinson.

The Knights with their new head coach Jack Castleberry are coming off of a historic March Madness run for the program.
