A gunman armed with a high-powered weapon opened fire on three friends sitting in a car on a residential Queens street early Thursday — killing one of them, police said.

Multiple shots rang out on 235th St. near 121st Ave. in Cambria Heights around 1:30 a.m., cops said.

The three men — all friends who live on 235th St. — were seated inside the Nissan Altima with Georgia plates when a man with dreadlocks opened fire with either an Uzi or a Mac-10 sub-machine gun, sources with knowledge of the case said.

The 25-year-old Nissan driver was struck in the head and neck, and died at the scene.

The two other victims, a 25-year-old man blasted in the hand and shoulder and a 24-year-old man hit in the back, were outside the car when cops arrived.

One of the men was running down the block towards his home as help showed up. Both wounded victims were taken to Jamaica Hospital where they were in stable condition Thursday afternoon.

The gunman dropped his weapon and ran off, cops said. No arrests have been made.
