Queens, Manhattan Borough Presidents Join Calls For Gov. Cuomo's Resignation

The borough presidents are the latest in a wave of lawmakers from both sides of the aisle to condemn Cuomo and his alleged behavior.

- The calls for Governor Cuomo's resignation growing louder this morning amid allegations of sexual harassment. Queensborough president Donovan Richards and Manhattan Borough president Gale Brewer, issuing a joint statement saying, quote, "While we support the ongoing investigations, we believe that the experiences recounted by the now seven women who have come forward warrant a call for the governor's resignation."

They go on to say, they do not believe the state's government can work effectively amid such a serious situation. The borough presidents' just the latest in a wave of lawmakers on both sides of the aisle condemning the Governor. Cuomo says he will not resign. He calls himself a victim of political cancel culture, and is asking New Yorkers to wait for the results of the attorney general's investigation.
