Queens woman fatally stabbed, boyfriend in custody

A Queens woman was fatally stabbed and her live-in boyfriend, who called 911 to report a robbery, was in custody Tuesday night, cops said.

Police arrived at a fourth-floor apartment on 85th Road near 143rd St. in Briarwood about 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, and found the body of Mindy Singer, 35, with multiple stab wounds.

Her 37-year-old boyfriend, who lived in the apartment, was taken into custody. His name was not immediately released.

Charges against him were pending.
