Meghan Markle made her first post-baby-photoshoot appearance at Trooping The Colour two weekends ago, and it was probably easy to assume that she was back in royal action. Like, for good.

But this week, the royal family is attending The Royal Ascot, a set of horse races that have the same amount of hype as the Kentucky Derby here in the U.S. Meghan is noticeably not with them.

You might be asking yourself, "Hey, wait, where's Meghan? I thought she was back! And how can one of the most famous women in the world pull off such a good incognito mode?" Great question! The short answer? She's still on maternity leave, hanging out at home with new bb, being a mom and stuff.

It's kind of a TBD situation on when she'll return to her royal duties for good. A source recently told Vanity Fair that Meghan will start working again in October, which seems soOoOOoo far away from now. Seriously, where is the world going to get its outfit inspo?

But it looks like she'll be making select appearances between now and then. As you already know, she attended Trooping the Colour two weeks ago.

And there's word that she'll attend Wimbledon in July, just like she did last year.

Kate did kind of the same thing when she had her kids, making certain royal appearances but not others, while she was still technically on leave. For example, she had Prince Louis in April of 2018. Just three weeks later(!), she attended the royal wedding, like the absolute trooper she is.

However, that was more of a thing that she *had* to be at because it was literally Prince Harry's wedding. Like, there's no way she could skip.

The next time the world saw her was at Trooping the Colour that June, three months after she'd given birth. That's also a pretty big deal in the royal family. It's the celebration of the birthday of the Sovereign, so it makes sense that'd she'd come back for that event in particular, like Meghan did this year.

From there, she made one appearance at Wimbledon in July and also for Prince Louis' christening in June, but those were more personal things, not really a work things. So it looks like Meghan will keep the same kind of itinerary, but again, Meghan and Harry are known for making their own rules, so it's really anyone's guess at this point.
