Spinnenweber spins a murderous tale set in the Highlands of Scotland, giving audiences the chance to interrogate the suspects and figure out who committed the crime.

To escape an arranged marriage, Flora Spencer runs away with stable hand Andrew MacLaughlin to Andrew’s home village of Glendilly. They had planned to marry, but are followed by Flora’s father, Lord Leopold Spencer, and his hand-picked son-in-law, pasty and nerdy Cyril Thwisketham.

Old friendships are renewed, new acquaintances are formed and whisky flows, before someone is kidnapped and someone else poisoned.

Spinnenweber, of Brighton Township, also directs and says, "It is a unique experience to see characters you created and who have lived in your imagination brought to life by talented actors.

“This show has been a different type of challenge. Working with teenage actors and adult actors. Some of the teenagers, this is their first show, and they are working with adult actors who have been in numerous productions," he said. "It has been very rewarding to watch the teenage actors grow into their parts and the adult actors have fun with their parts.”

Assistant director is Tammy Van Evera, of New Brighton, with producer Gloria Little, of Monaca.
