R&B concert ‘A Night for Lovers’ coming to Sacramento’s Memorial Auditorium

(FOX40.COM) — Love will still be in the air in Sacramento after Valentine’s Day.

R&B music will take over the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium for the “A Night for Lovers” concert on March 1.

The concert will feature performances from singers Joe, Donell Jones, Jacquees, Adrian Marcel, J Holiday, Case and Pleasure P.

Joe is known for the hits “I Wanna Know” and “Don’t Wanna Be A Player,” the latter of which he appears in the song’s chorus. Other hits from the featured artists include “U Know What’s Up” by Jones, “Bed” and “Suffocate” by Holiday, and “2AM” by Marcel.

Pleasure P served as the lead singer for R&B group Pretty Ricky, known for the hits “Grind With Me” and “On the Hotline,” before embarking on a solo career.

Case’s hits include “Missing You and “Livin’ it Up” with Ja Rule while Jacquees has released three studio albums along with his breakout song “B.E.D.”

Although the lower level sections are sold out, tickets for the star-studded R&B event are available online in the upper 200 sections. According to Ticketmaster, tickets for the 200 sections start at $69.99.

The concert is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. on March 1, according to the Memorial Auditorium.
