Raab presses UK PM May to back hardline plan on Irish border: Financial Times

(Reuters) - Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab has written to Prime Minister Theresa May urging her to support his plan to demand the right to pull Britain out of an Irish border 'backstop' pact after three months, the Financial Times reported. Raab pitched his plan to Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney in a private meeting last week, the Telegraph reported on Sunday.
