3. (SOUNDBITE) (English) SOUTH AFRICA BOWLER, KAGISO RABADA, SAYING:

"100% as something I will always stand for and speak for myself, it was a team decision not to kneel. And I think to look at gender-based violence, and to devote ourselves to another cause. However Black Lives Matter will always be relevant and something that I will always believe in. And I speak for myself there. But yeah, (South Africa Cricket coach) Mark (Boucher) has stated that the team will not be kneeling and that is how it is going to be."

5. (SOUNDBITE) (English) SOUTH AFRICA BOWLER, KAGISO RABADA, SAYING:

"Yeah it has been quite bizarre actually, we have to train in groups now. There is a group of non-contacts and a group of close contacts. Doesn't mean that anyone is positive. But it just means that you have to take that extra precaution. So that is how it has been. So we are just waiting. There is going to be a test sometime soon and we will just wait for those results to come back. But training is going smoothly, the guys are getting in the training that they need to, and that is the most important thing for now. And I think the team is doing well at sticking to strict rules that have been set in place at the moment. It definitely is challenging and it is bizarre, but we are training well and I think we are communicating quite well as a group."

STORY: South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada says he is fully behind the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement even though his team will not kneel ahead of white ball matches against England over the coming month.

The squad are instead highlighting gender-based violence, but Rabada, one of a number of Black players in the South African team, told reporters on Monday (November 23) that BLM was something he would 'always believe in'.

The 25-year-old is expected to spearhead South Africa's attack as they play England in three ODIs and three T20s, the first of which takes place on Friday (November 27).

Two South African players have tested positive for COVID-19, leading to the team training in smaller groups, but Rabada said morale is still high in the camp.
