Raccoon Expertly Rescued From Drain Pipe in Maine

A raccoon was efficiently rescued after it fell down a storm drain in Yarmouth, Maine, on Monday, October 3.

Officers from the Yarmouth Police Department were called to help the raccoon, who had become trapped in a catch basin.

Concerned that the animal would drown, members of the Yarmouth Public Works department helped an officer, who expertly grabbed the raccoon with a dog pole and yanked it out.
