Racist remarks made to student lacrosse player under investigation

Carroll County Public Schools officials are investigating racist remarks made to a Black student. The incident took place during a school-sanctioned lacrosse game Monday between Manchester Valley and Francis Scott Key high schools. A 16-year-old African American Manchester Valley player said he became the subject of numerous racial remarks from members of the opposing team, Francis Scott Key.
