Radnor Hotel Reopening With Enhanced Health Precautions

ST. DAVIDS, PA — The Radnor Hotel will open on Sunday after investing in enhancement for health and safety that include a state-of-the-art air filtration system.

Extensive renovations and heightened compliance with CDC and PA Department of Health guidelines will meet guests as the hospitality venue reopens on Aug. 9.

The new HVAC represents a major investment in upgraded technology, hotel management said, noting it maximizes fresh air exchange allowing cleaner air throughout the building. Touchless hand sanitizers and extensive signage with safety reminders have been installed throughout the property along with Plexiglass partitions added at the registration desk.

Radnor Hotel owner Main Line Hotels said all employees receive "extensive Covid training for sanitation and safety and are required to wear a mask while on duty." The frequency of cleaning public area surfaces and spaces has increased with a focus on high-touch points, high-traffic areas and public restrooms. All guests are asked to wear masks in public areas, said Main Line Hotels.

The Radnor Hotel's newly renovated guest rooms have enhanced sanitizing protocols, also. Hospital-grade cleaning agents will be thoroughly applied on all surfaces, remote controls, phones, switch-plates, handles and all other high-touch points in the rooms. All overnight guests will be able to safely pick up an Express Breakfast to go each morning. The Express Breakfast offering will include a wrapped fruit Danish, an energy bar, and a water bottle.

Every guest room is equipped with a single-serve coffee maker and fully stocked with coffee and tea packets. Housekeepers will not enter the rooms during the guest stay, and fresh towels and complimentary toiletries are available upon request. The hotel's award-winning formal gardens offer a relaxing space to gather safely.

The Radnor's food and beverage operations and the Glenmorgan Bar & Grill will resume service at a future date, hotel management said.
