It was a dud Sunday night showing for the Las Vegas Raiders against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
And Raider Nation felt embarrassed by the lack of performance by the Raiders throughout the game, although they rallied, but still came up short.
The Raiders lost to the Steelers 23-18 to drop to 1-2 in the young 2023 NFL season.
Fans took to social media to vent their frustration, which seems like a norm, pointing out that they want a better defense.
this gonna be a rough season #RaiderNation

34 total points this season for the Raiders.
That's *checks calculator* 11.3 PPG which is worse than Nate Hackett's offense last year in Denver.
Was supposed to be THE strength of the team. But the team might just be a bottom 5 team. #RaiderNation— Solo Lopez (@TheSoloLopez) September 25, 2023
^^^ this but Patrick Graham, that blitz on an empty backfield was highly questionable and heavily uncalled for #RaiderNation

Even Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, who is a huge Raiders fan, took to social media as well.
No way we this garbage man.

It was so bad for the Raiders that Jimmy G threw an errant pass up for grabs that was intercepted by Patrick Peterson in the third quarter.
AND….. THIS IS WHY THE 49ers MOVED ON ️
— Jimmy Garoppolo throws his 2nd interception of the game.

Later, the Raiders decided to kick a field goal instead of going for it, but figured they could get the ball back in time for the game winner.
Ya know… raiders should’ve gone for the touchdown and tie while they had the chance lol #raidernation

That happened, but with little time.
Raiders coach Josh McDaniels defended his decision to kick a field goal with 2:25 remaining, but fans weren’t hearing it.

Not playing @Raiders If Josh McDaniels is still the coach in January for the Denver game, Me and the Kid will 10000000000%%% be wearing Fire JMD shirts to the game over our jerseys. Get this trash out of there.

Garoppolo finished the game with three interceptions.
To make matters worse, Garoppolo is being evaluated for a concussion.
