Rain Brings Some Respite Amid Record-Setting Austin Heat

Rain in Austin, Texas, offered some relief from the record-setting heat on Monday, June 27.

Austin has been experiencing a hot month of June, with the National Weather Service saying the city hit 100 degrees Fahrenheit 21 times so far, and 12 days in a row, a new record.

The office in the area tweeted: “This is not a dream, the first signs of rain in quite some time have begun to develop!”
