When is the rain coming back to South Florida? And how long will it stick around?
Summer storms are coming back.
After a fairly dry Fourth of July weekend, rain is in the forecast. Rain chance is 60% on Tuesday afternoon, rising to 70% on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.

But the good news: Forecasters don’t expect enough hard and fast rain to cause flooding problems in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, said Larry Kelly, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service.
The rain chance then goes down later in the week to 30% to 50%.
Will it stay hot? Well, it is summer in Miami.
Temperatures could reach into the upper 80s-during the rainy part of the week. But get ready for even more heat once the rain leaves town. That’s when the thermometer could reach into the 90s.
Weekday beachgoers can expect high chances of rip currents into Tuesday, but the risk should get more moderate starting Wednesday, according to the forecast.
