Rain, freezing temperatures are predicted for Cincinnati: How to check road conditions

Before hitting the roads in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, here are updates on conditions of the roads and any possibly closings as winter storm Izzy strikes Ohio, and freezing temperatures and rain impact the Cincinnati area.

The Ohio Department of Transportation has a real-time traffic map that shows accidents and problems as well as cameras to show conditions at ohgo.com.

The heaviest snowfall will be seen in northeast Kentucky and south central Ohio, east of Interstate 71. Several counties in the area have been put under a winter storm warning by the NWS until 7 a.m. Monday, with some areas expected to receive up to eight inches of snow.
