Will it rain on Halloween this year? See the Cincinnati forecast here

The forecast makes it out to be a mild Halloween weekend, with a chance of rain for the holiday on Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of rain Saturday night, Sunday, Sunday night and Monday, with temperature highs in the mid- to high 60s.

Even with the chance of rain, the Greater Cincinnati area is still in a drought. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, Hamilton County and the Northern Kentucky counties are classified as D1, or experiencing moderate drought. Fall colors around the area are also expected to peak this weekend, according to the 2022 fall foliage prediction map from SmokeyMountains.com.

Monday, Oct. 31 is Halloween, and the day will be mostly cloudy with a high of 67 and a chance of rain. Overnight, conditions will be mostly cloudy and dipping to a low of around 49.

For the prime trick-or-treat period, the hourly forecast on Friday showed about a 50 percent precipitation potential Monday afternoon through 7 p.m. The potential for rain drops sharply after 7 p.m.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Friday night: Patchy fog after 3 a.m. and otherwise clear, with a low around 40.

Saturday: Areas of fog before 9 a.m. and otherwise sunny, with a high near 69. Saturday night: Calm wind and increasing clouds with a low around 49, and a chance of rain after 2 a.m.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64 and rain likely, mainly after 8 a.m. Sunday night: A low around 55 and rain, mainly before 2 a.m.

Monday (Halloween): Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67 and a chance of rain.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 71.
