Rain Lashes Houston as Tropical Storm Nicholas Downgraded

Powerful wind gusts and heavy rain lashed Houston on September 14, as Tropical Storm Nicholas moved along the Texas coastline hours after making landfall as a hurricane.

Footage by Shane Hand, which he said was filmed at bout 5:24am on Tuesday, shows rain lashing the Midtown area of Houston.

The National Hurricane Center downgraded Tropical Storm Nicholas to a tropical depression on Tuesday evening.
