MIKE NICCO: I'm ABC 7 News' meteorologist Mike Nicco. While we welcome back sunshine today, check out the wet weather coming in tomorrow. The storm door is opening, and it starts with a one on the storm impact scale. Tomorrow evening, prepare to get wet. And that will linger into the overnight hours and into Saturday morning.

Here we are at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning-- increasing clouds, a few light showers possible along the North Bay coastal mountains. But it looks like the real deal, the light to moderate steady rain, moves in around 5 o'clock. And look at this. As we head through the evening hours, if you're heading out, prepare to be wet everywhere but Livermore and San Jose by 10 o'clock, but then you're right after that. And it could be moderate at times. And with the snow level down, a slight dusting on Hamilton is possible.

Wake up Saturday morning, and it's gone. What does it leave behind? About a quarter to a half-inch of rain. So let's move forward and show you what's happening over the weekend.

There's a slight chance Sunday morning of some wet weather in Northern Sonoma Lake and Mendocino counties. But look what happens Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. We could get up to 50% of our monthly average of rainfall out of those four days, and we could even see snow down on Hamilton and Diablo.
