Rain Pelts Down Over Scottsdale as Weather Warning Issued

Powerful winds and lashing rain hit Scottsdale, Arizona, on the night of Thursday, July 22, with locals urged to seek higher ground.

The National Weather Service issued a significant weather advisory and a flash flood warning for the area, warning of “pea size” hail and gusts of up to 45 miles per hour.
