There's a 100% chance of rain forecast for Thanksgiving, but less than a quarter-inch is expected to fall, and the day's high temperature should be about 47 degrees.

Black Friday will be cold, with snow showers in the forecast.

According to the National Weather Service Office in Cleveland, partly sunny skies Wednesday will become cloudy overnight with a low around 38, followed by rain, mostly after 8 a.m. Thanksgiving morning.

Rain showers are expected before midnight, then rain and snow showers between midnight and 2 a.m., then a chance of snow showers after 2 a.m. with a low around 28. The chance of precipitation is 80%, and new snow accumulation of less than a half-inch possible.

A 40% chance of snow showers remains on Black Friday and into Friday night, when temperatures are expected to be in the mid-20s.
