The National Weather Service says rain is in the forecast for the foreseeable future.

Rain and storms are expected Friday night into Saturday morning.

Storms are expected to develop across northern Ohio after 4 p.m.

The biggest risk, the weather service says, is locally heavy rain − as much as an inch by morning − that could cause some localized flooding.

The risk of rain and showers is in the forecast through the weekend all the way to Thursday.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 8 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 7 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 7 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 62. East wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
