Is Raley’s open? What about Trader Joe’s? What’s open and closed on July 4 in Sacramento

Independence Day lands on a Tuesday this year, and some chain stores in Sacramento will either be closing or observing limited hours for the holiday.

If you happen to need a last-minute food item for your barbecue, you’re in luck, most markets will remain open with their normal business hours. Trader Joe’s is the only market in the area that will have limited hours for the holiday.

Banks, post offices, other government offices and the stock market will be closed.

Sam’s Club: Open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for plus members, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for club members.

Costco: Closed on Independence Day.

Walmart: Open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Target: Open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op: Open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Trader Joe’s: Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Raley’s: Open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Sprouts: Open 7 a.m to 10 p.m.

Safeway: Most locations close at midnight.

Winco: Open from 6 a.m. to midnight.

Whole Foods: Open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
