Ralph Lauren Looks to—What Else?—Classic Shirts for His Latest Bedding Collection

“When my wife and I were shopping for our first apartment, all the sheets were very feminine,” Lauren recalled in a statement. “I wondered, ‘Why can’t I find something that appeals to both men and women with a quality that was beautifully classic?’ So I took the Oxford cloth we were using to make shirts, turned it into bedding, and sewed buttons down the side of the pillowcases.”
