Rams beach tour, a parade and more free events in Ventura County for Labor Day weekend

'Rams on the 1' Beach Tour

Join a crew with the Los Angeles Rams at Harbor Cove Beach in Ventura Harbor 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday.

Mascot Rampage, Rams cheerleaders, Mariachi Rams and more will be on hand. The visit is part of the team's Rams on the 1 Beach Tour, and the team will offer a chance to win giveaways and home game tickets.

Simi Fall Festival & Carnival

The Simi Fall Festival & Carnival spins into action at the Simi Valley Town Center, 1555 Simi Town Center Way Friday to Monday.

Access to the event, parking and live music are free. The festival starts Friday at 5 p.m. and ends Monday at 9 p.m. The carnival opens at noon Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Presale ride tickets are $30 for 10 and must be purchased online by 4:59 p.m. Friday. Each presale ticket grants access to one ride.

Ride tickets may be purchased on site but require multiples for each ride. Food is also available for purchase.

Santa Paula Labor Day Parade

Find a spot curbside to enjoy the annual Santa Paula Labor Day Parade will get rolling Monday at 10 a.m. on Main Street. This year's theme is Honor the Labor Force.

The parade — with floats, tractors and more — starts at 7th and Main streets and ends at the gazebo at Santa Barbara and Mill streets.

Summer concert in the park

End summer on a high note at the Conejo Recreation & Park District's last concert of the season with Allman Brothers tribute band The Midnight Rider.

The free concert at Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Ave., Thousand Oaks runs 5-7 p.m. Parking is offsite only. Limited onsite parking is reserved for cars with handicap placards.

Concert-goers are advised to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnics and jackets but to leave their pets at home.

Community cinema: 'Puss in Boots: The Final Wish'

Revel in the charm of Puss in Boots at Oxnard Recreation & Community Service's Department's final movie night of the year Friday at the Oxnard PAL gymnasium at dusk.

Guests are invited to wear their coziest pajamas to get comfortable on the gym floor at 350 S. K St. to watch "Puss in Boots: The Final Wish."

Ventura Botanical Gardens

Enjoy ocean views and amazing flora at the Ventura Botanical Garden free Monday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The 107-acre gardens at 567 Poli St. sit on the hills behind Ventura City Hall. Leashed dogs and their humans are welcome.
