Early voters who missed the Oct. 14 registration deadline, may register the same day they cast their early ballots, according to Randolph Elections Director Melissa Johnson. Same-day registrants must provide proof of residency, such as a bill or other document with an address.
Voters who received an absentee ballot by mail have the option to fill them out and drop them off at an official at an early voting site. Those who requested an absentee ballot may cast an early ballot or vote on election day as long as they have not mailed their absentee ballot.
Those who have voted via absentee ballot, along with other voters, can check the status of the ballot via an online voter search database.
The state board reiterated its concerns about conduct at the precinct.
"The State Board asks that all voters respect the rights of others to participate in the election," reads information from the state board. "Intimidating any voter is a crime. Voters who feel harassed or intimidated should notify an election official immediately."
While voters may use electronic devices to access information while at the ballot, they may not take pictures of the ballot or communicate with anyone.
