Ranked: The best school districts in Wisconsin for 2024
(WFRV) – One of the most important decisions a parent can make, if allowed to do so, is to decide where their children will attend school. For parents in northeast Wisconsin, there are plenty of great school districts to decide on.
Niche, a company that helps provide rankings, lists, and other searches on institutions across the United States, ranked the top school districts in Wisconsin, and 11 northeast Wisconsin districts ranked within the top 50.
Wisconsin is home to three of the top 100 high schools for athletes in the United States
The top-ranked school district according to Niche’s rankings is Elmbrook School District in Brookfield. Elmbrook School District houses 10 schools and nearly 8,000 students.
With six schools and nearly 5,000 students, ranking #2 is Muskego-Norway School District in Waukesha County.
Rounding out Niche’s Top 3 is Whitefish Bay School District in Milwaukee County. Whitefish Bay School District is amongst the smaller districts in the Top 10 and is home to roughly 2,800 students and four schools.
The highest-ranked northeast Wisconsin school district comes in at #11, Kohler School District in Sheboygan County. Home to just over 700 students in three total schools, Kohler School District’s mission is to “inspire inquiry; engage hearts, minds and bodies; and provide supports to ensure all students can achieve success.”
