Things get tighter at the top

Week 7 was a reminder that this year’s Heisman Trophy race is really just a two-man spring between Alabama quarterback Bryce Young and Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral. Young and Corral led their teams to victories against Mississippi State and Tennessee, respectively, while the rest of the field behind them didn’t do all that much to show that they are serious challengers. That can always change with plenty of football still left to play, but for right now, it’s Young, Corral and everybody else.

As we head into the next of action, List Wire breaks down where each Heisman candidate currently stands…
