Ranking: These are the top 5 public and private high schools in the Wichita metro

High schools in the Andover, Maize and Wichita school districts are among the top ranked in the greater Wichita area, according to one national school ranking website.

One Andover school was also ranked in the top 10 statewide, while three Wichita private schools made the 10 best private schools in the state.

The school rating website Niche grades area schools on academics, teachers, the overall school district, culture and diversity and through parent and student surveys.
