Rankings: Where do Fort Worth-area high school football stand after Week 1?

The first week of Texas high school football is behind us. Which top teams had successful week one performances?

Southlake Carroll and Aledo stayed at the top of the Class 6A and 5A rankings, respectively.

Keller rose to No. 4 in the 6A rankings and Arlington Martin dropped to No. 6 after a close loss to Lake Travis. Everman and Richland made noise in the Class 5A rankings, leaping Grapevine and Argyle, who had unsuccessful efforts to kickoff the season.

Grandview rose to No. 2 in Class 4A and 3A after a blowout victory against Glen Rose, a team that fell out of the rankings. Lake Worth and Paradise debuted in the rankings with week one wins.
