BERWICK, Maine — Author Robert W. Spencer will be visiting the Berwick, Public Library on Tuesday, March 28, at 6 p.m., to talk about his newest book "Francena Hallett's Heart", the final novel in a historical fiction series set in Southern Maine.

Girl Scouts offer kindergarten prep series in Epping

EPPING — Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains is offering a girl-centered kindergarten readiness series, Make New Friends, to any girl entering kindergarten this fall in Epping and the surrounding area. This four-part series will run the Wednesdays of March 29 and April 5, 12 and 19 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Harvey Mitchell Memorial Library, 151 Main St., Epping. No membership required. Lunch and Learn - Pain with Aging

BERWICK, Maine — On Wednesday,  March 29 Elisha Belliveau from Wentworth Douglas Hospital will give a presentation on the typical types of pain aging people experience and how to manage pain at the Berwick Public Library. 21st Annual Dover Public Library Poetry Contest

DOVER — The Dover Public Library announces the 21st Annual Dover Public Library Poetry contest for grades K-12 and adults ages 18 and up. Deadline for entry is April 19. Students and adults may pick up information about the contest at the Dover Public Library, Dover school libraries, or on our website at library.dover.nh.gov starting on March 15. All participants are invited to attend an “Evening of Poetry” on Monday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. Participants are invited to read their poetry at this event, but this will be purely voluntary.
