Rapper Too Short Signs Huge Cannabis Deal for Line of Pre-Rolls

Legendary rapper Too $hort just signed a new deal to partner with a leading cannabis company and launch his own line of pre-rolled joints.

Short Dogg is jumping into business with Green Holdings Group and White Angel Farms to launch his new line called, “TOO $HORT STIX.”

Too Short tells The Blast he has been a regular cannabis consumer for over thirty years. In the early rap days, he explains that he funded his career by selling mix tapes along with pre-rolled joints.

Short has actually been living the “farm life” in between tour dates and recording sessions, and we're told he has taken an active role in developing the cannabis brand.

We're told the rapper has partnered with the master growers at White Angel Farms to work on the "genetic selections" for the flower.

Potency, and flavor were important to the rapper and the team, and they created 10 strains for Too Short that "fit his vision for producing high quality product for consumers."

In July we're told Short's company had a tasting party and invited leaders in the industry including, King Louie, Baby Bash, Jerry K, L.A. Kush, Med Men, DJ Pooh, Loomis Host of Sirius XMs “The Roll Up Show’, Madzilla, and Layzie Bone of Bones Thugs and Harmony.

The CEO of Green Holdings Group, Freddy Sayegh, tells The Blast,

“Unlike many celebrities in this space who license out their names for a check, we chose to take this project on because of Short’s commitment to the project. He has been influential and detail orientated in every step of this project. He meets regularly with the grow team, he sits in on every marketing meeting, he has asked that a 24-hour video feed is made to public so that they can watch each and every Short Stix pre roll being made.”

The company will be hosting an official launch party soon in a private venue, with performances by Too $hort, Loomis and reggae supertsar, General Jah Mikey.

Too Short joins a host of celebs getting into the cannabis industry, including Bella Thorne, Willie Nelson and Mike Tyson.
