Raptors earn shutout
Oct. 1—WEST HARTFORD — Jacob Dooley broke a scoreless deadlock 1: 47 into the second half and RHAM High scored three times after the break to claim a 3- 0 Central Connecticut Conference inter- division victory over Northwest Catholic on Thursday.
Michael Thatford and Max Sementa also had goals for the Raptors (3-22).
Cooper Halotek, Sean Connolly and Alexander Grillo had assists.
Erik Buden recorded the shutout with two saves.
GIRLS SOCCER
Kaelyn Pearl had a goal and assist as Parish Hill edged International/ AAE, 2- 1, in a Capital Region Athletic League game.
Gretchen Ricci opened the scoring for the Pirates ( 5- 1 overall, 5- 1 league).
Harmony Freed added an assist and Abby Anderson picked up her first win in goal.
VOLLEYBALL
Vanessa Perry (6 aces, 4 kills) and Adrianna Diaz ( 10 digs) led Windham Tech ( 0- 9) in its 25- 18, 22- 25, 25- 21, 25- 21 non- conference loss to East Windsor.
