As we start a new week, and head speedily toward the end of a month, let’s take a moment to slow down and reflect, and look at our most-read stories from last week. Remember the rare eagle that was spotted in Somerset and Dighton last month? Well, he has some company. Birdwatchers are flocking to the Lloyd Center for the Environment and its grounds to catch a glimpse of the rare red-headed woodpecker. We also introduced you to Fall River's new city administrator, showed you a new ice vending business, and much more. Catch up on what you may have missed, right here.

In local sports action, Jeyden Espinal has been the most improved player for the Durfee boys basketball team in 2021-22. On Saturday, the senior guard continued his excellence against New Bedford. Espinal netted a team-high 20 points to lead the Hilltoppers to an 80-53 win over the Whalers at New Bedford High School. Learn more about him and other local games here.
