Rare Sighting of Salmon Shark Near Californian Island
A whale-watching group was treated to a rare sighting of a salmon shark during a trip near Santa Catalina island, off Los Angeles, on March 26.
Dana Wharf Whale Watch said the highlight of an eight-hour trip was a 12-minute encounter with the “very rare” shark.
