Rare Spring Snow Surprises Residents in Christchurch
Residents of Christchurch, New Zealand, were met with an early spring flurry of snow on the morning of Tuesday, September 6.
This footage, filmed by Twitter user @just_here_to_re in Harewood, shows snow falling steadily in their garden.
According to the Met Service, the dramatic drop in temperatures was caused by a cold front travelling up from Antarctica.
